Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate
Diploma
in Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): Solution Focus, Cost management, Improvisation, Project Contributor
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
- Able to work independently
- Pro-active, possess technical and problem solving skills with attention to details.
- Experience in 3rd party logistics industry will be advantageous.
- Able to be assertive and demonstrate persuasive leadership instead of authority.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Conduct Visual Inspection for physical defects and conditions on inbound shipments and outbound
shipments
- Inspect labels for accuracy before release of products
- Account for quantity of goods loaded and unloaded
- Ensure timely and accurate release of goods
- Oversee the labelling and re-labelling of products
- Oversee the loading operation to ensure goods are loaded correctly
- To raise Quality investigation reports and Customer investigation reports when there are deviations.
- To have reviews of Quality investigation reports and Customer investigation reports with SHEQ
manager,
providing justification to investigation reports.
- Ensure checklists and proper documentation of inspection are completes timely.
- Supporting other quality checkers in out bound and in bound shipments
- Willing to work in environment of prolonged standing and warehouse environment
Safety Responsibilities:
Conduct take5, toolbox meeting and SOP training for operatorsConduct safety audits daily and report near
missesMaintain a high level of Safety standards as per organizational requirementEnsure appropriate PPE
is
issued for each operational functionWork towards a target of zero recordable injury
Quality Responsibilities:
Maintain high level of quality standards throughout all operational functions.Work towards a zero non
conformity for all operational functions.Participate in ISO audits and gear towards quality
excellence.
Organizational Responsibilities:
Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function
(Safety,
Quality and operations) as well as coordination and communication between functions.Drive initiatives
that
contribute to long-term administrative excellence.Ensure customer KPI’s are meet as per organizational
requirement.
